The Book of Triadeism Talks About Cannibalism, So Is It Okay?

After consuming (Rei's) body for sustenance, and after the burial, H'ai returned to battle.
Without his simul, H'ai was slain.

The Book of Triadeism mentions in it two simul, R'ei and H'ai, the story teaches us of greed and loss, however, one line may confuse many of you, the mention of consuming his body for sustenance.

While this may seem taboo and dark, it should be noted that cannibalism is not intended as a harmful act, but rather as a last way for those who have passed to give to those in the congregation.

Cannibalism is often considered amoral and evil in our current society, but it is not so.

You see, cannibalism is an act only done after the individual has passed, and is in no way intended to be harmful. While obviously the harm or murder of another innocent individual whom is not consenting is harmful, consumption of the body of a consenting individual who has passed does no inherent harm.

While for many they disagree, you'll see that we force cannibalism upon no one, and that its an entirely optional step in the act of mourning the death of a loved one.

In the Book of Triadeism we see H'ai eat his simul R'ei, and although the cause of his death is the greed of H'ai, the act of cannibalism is not, in fact the acts of cannibalism present in the book are only to show the mourning process common in Triadeism.

I can hear some of you, whom do not wish to be eaten upon death, and this is entirely reasonable; much like any other aspect of the funeral process, such as the decision to be cremated or buried, the choice to give up your body for consumption after death is an optional process.

Now, the moral argument that may be made against cannibalism that most agree with is the possibility of diseases. However, although I must agree it is always a risk, this risk can be heavily negated by proper preparation of the body, and even without this preparation, it is very rare to get sick from practicing cannibalism.

So, in conclusion, The Church of Triadeism is supporting of the cannibalism found in the Book of Triadeism, and though this may not be for all of our readers, we hope that those against cannibalism can find an open mind on the subject.
